At Cartwheel Rental, safety is our top priority. We are committed to providing clean, well-maintained, street-legal Yamaha golf carts and ensuring every customer understands the proper operating procedures before hitting the road. By following a few simple safety guidelines and local regulations, you can enjoy a fun, comfortable, and worry-free experience throughout Fort Myers and the surrounding areas.

Please review the information below regarding golf cart operation, rider safety, rental requirements, and delivery procedures. If you have any questions before or during your rental, our team is always available to help ensure a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone.

1. Obey all traffic laws of the road.
2. Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
3. Cart must only be driven on roads of 35 MPH or less.
4. Store the cart in a safe area, always take the key with you.
5. Always return the cart cleaned out.
6. No off-road or reckless driving.
7. No driving on sidewalks.
8. No driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
9. Always park the cart in proper parking spaces.
10. No underage driver at any time.
11. Please do not store or carry items on top of the cart.
12. Before the use of the cart, please inspect it for any previous damage. 
13. All damage must be reported before the use of the cart to avoid damage charges on your credit card.
14. Any damages caused by the renter must be reported ASAP.
15. Never drive the cart with the parking brake engaged.
16. All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance or you can buy insurance from us.
17. Four passenger carts can only have four passengers in them and six passengers for six-passenger carts.
18. No paddle-boards, kayaks, coolers, chairs are allowed on the roof of the cart. Damage will be charged to you.
19. Use the seat your child uses in your automobiles such as a car seat or booster. No Infants and small children in laps of adults.
20. Never drive a cart on a major highway or any road with a speed limit of 35 mph or higher.
21. Call our office to make a reservation or to ask questions. Please leave us your dates and the rental location.
22. Cancellation Policy - If you must cancel or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation.
